Corliss is the mate of Baxley and the mother of Aldwyn and Yeardley. She is part of the Wind Chanter tribe and has the normal powers of telekinesis as well as telepathy. She was murdered by Malvern, her brother-in-law, but had set her children on a raft in the Ebs to escape Malvern.
Personality[]
Although not physically appearing in any of the books, Corliss is described by Malvern to be very attached to Baxley. She was also protective of her child, as shown when she set him on the river to escape his uncle. She is said to be very beautiful.
Appearances[]
She does not appear in the books except in the form of a memory, commonly mentioned when Aldwyn thinks about his family after Malvern reveals the story of his mother.
